Will we ever see Splinter Cell again? The stealth-focused franchise has been sorely missed since its last entry way back in 2013. There’s been a lot of teasing about a potential new game in the series for years, but the closest we got to that was a crossover mission with Ghost Recon Wildlands (which included a neat nod to Metal Gear as well). Now it seems we’re doing it again for Breakpoint.

As announced via the official Ghost Recon Twitter, Fisher will return for an all new adventure next week. There’s a short teaser that you can see below. Whatever it’ll be, it’ll be called “Deep State”, and Fisher seems to be ready to go and help fix the mess the Ghosts have gotten themselves into.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. Deep State will come on March 24th and presumably will launch for all platforms. Hopefully, Sam will one day return in an actual game of his own, too, but until then this will have to do.
