Ubisoft has announced the first expansion and DLC for the ‘freemium’ shooter Ghost Recon Online, The Arctic Pack, available now.

Featuring spangly new content which contains: a new conquest map called Tomsk-9, 6 new weapon , 3 headgear and 2 body armor variants.

Tomsk-9 takes place in a nuclear reprocessing plant, deep in the icy wilderness of the Arctic Circle, and it’s GRO’s biggest map yet.

Large portions of this update were crafted by the community themselves, who helped highlight over 300 improvements, including balance and bug fixes, which come as part of the Arctic Pack along with the new content.

All items which come with the Arctic Pack are also available for purchase via Requisition Points and Ghost Coins. The weapon variants will be available for two weeks, whilst headgear and armour will become a permanent fixture in the GRO universe.
