Following its premature listing on the Epic Games Store, 505 Games confirmed that Ghostrunner 2 would release on October 26th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Pre-orders have since gone live, and a new trailer is available, highlighting some of the crazy action players can expect. Check it out below.
As with the previous game, Ghostrunner 2 offers high-speed platforming, instakills (which also apply to the player) and using the environments to one’s advantage. If the “rule of cool” wasn’t already pushed enough, there are also motorbike sections and giant bosses to battle.
Along with the Standard Edition, the Deluxe Edition and Brutal Edition are available to pre-order. The former offers the base game, Traditional Katana Pack and the Deluxe Pack with sword and hand skins. The latter includes the same content, plus the Brutal Pack (containing animated sword and hand skins and a motorcycle skin), 48-hour early access and the Season Pass.
The Season Pass retails for $19.99 separately and includes a new game mode and four cosmetic packs, each containing three sword and hand skins and one motorcycle skin. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
