SCE Santa Monica has revealed a new multiplayer pack for the upcoming God of War: Ascension in which players can have access to four additional characters for free when the game releases on March 12th.
The characters in question are Perseus, Orion, Odysseus, and Achilles – for some of the most legendary heroes of Greek Mythology. Each has their own unique trait, such as Perseus’s quickness with the spear and Orion’s sheer brutality with the hammer.
Dubbed the Mythological Heroes DLC Pack, it will be released later on PSN for those who don’t preorder the game, though it’s a pretty good incentive to get it now. Because free stuff!
God of War: Ascension will be releasing exclusively on the PS3, and will take place before the main trilogy as Kratos struggles with breaking his oath to Ares and seeking the aid of Gods like Athena in seeking redemption. Also, killing. Lots of killing.
