God of War III swings into UK #1

Sony continues its winning streak after Heavy Rain with God of War III, which has smashed its way into the top spot.

The UK charts show that the Santa Monica PS3 exclusive has blasted right past Final Fantasy XIII and taken the number one spot for itself.

The game has already outsold its prequel on the PS2 by 2:1.

As we can see, Battlefield has maintained a solid position at number 2, while Metro 2033 has made a first appearance at number 5.
