#15. THE ASH TYRANT
An excellent example of how well-designed even the side quests are in this game. Found in the crater area in Vanaheim (which itself is entirely optional), the Ash Tyrant is a dragon that you take on at the end of an excellent side quest. Though it’s one of several dragons that can be fought in the area, the Ash Tyrant stands out owing to how much more challenging the encounter is, how well-designed the battle arena is, and how the fight encourages you to properly use your full arsenal.
