Godfall’s First Gameplay Clip Appears Online

One of the first next gen games get a brief gameplay snippet.

Well, if there was any doubt that the next generation of consoles were breathing down our neck, this year’s The Game Awards removed any doubt. Not only did we get the very unexpected reveal of the next Xbox, the Xbox Series X, we got our first look at actual next gen games. One of the games shown was the PS5’s Godfall. We got a neat reveal trailer, and now we get a look at what the game will play like.

The clip came from an interview with PlayStation Lifestyle that talked about the game. The clip is incredibly brief, but gives you a bit of an idea of what to expect. There seems to be some good old fashion dodging, as well as a parry mechanic that looks to be a key mechanic in combat. You can see it below.

Godfall will launch as a console exclusive to the PlayStation 5 Holiday 2020 as well as PC. For the developer’s reasoning for why the game is going exclusive to next gen, take a look through here.
