Forgotton Anne

We’ve been seeing some incredible looking 2D platformers and adventure titles in the past few years. ThroughLine Games’ Forgotton Anne undoubtedly earns its place among them. The indie 2D adventure title sports some incredible looking art, all hand-drawn, and now it has a release date. You can pick it up on Steam for $20 on May 15th. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Anne is the star of this story and acts as an enforcer in the Forgotten Lands. The world is occupied by forgotten objects and creatures called Forgotlings but Anne seeks to return to her own world. She’ll help various characters along the way and there’s a fair bit of platforming to go with the puzzles. Decision making and branching dialogue are also key, leading to different circumstances in key situations.

If the beautiful art-style wasn’t enough, Forgotton Anne also features an orchestral score courtesy of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra. To learn more about the game, check out the Steam store listing.
