Gotham Knights Cinematic Launch Trailer Hypes up the Bat Family

The central theme of the trailer - and the game's story - is that Red Hood, Batgirl, Nightwing and Robin are more than just Batman's replacements.

As if a gameplay launch trailer wasn’t enough, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a cinematic launch trailer for Gotham Knights. It embodies the game’s overarching theme pretty well – that Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin aren’t replacements for Batman, but the future of Gotham. Check it out below.

The story of Gotham Knights begins after Batman’s apparent demise. It’s up to the Bat Family to stand tall, and bring order to Gotham City, especially as villains like Harley Quinn, Clayface, and Mister Freeze cause chaos. However, the mysterious Court of Owls lurks in the shadows, pulling the strings and solidifying their rule.

The cinematic trailer seemingly teases the Big Bad leading the Court, so it should be interesting to see where the story goes. Gotham Knights is out on October 21st for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Pre-orders receive the 233 Kustom Batcycle Skin for free. For more details on the $90 Deluxe Edition, head here.
