Gran Turismo Sport, which is set to launch later this year (assuming it doesn’t get another delay), is going to support the PlayStation VR, at least for some modes. And while the exact VR gameplay on the headset are going to be hard to show off to people by any stretch, Sony is showing off Gran Turismo Sport‘s social screen gameplay while it runs on PlayStation VR.

Social screen on a PlayStation VR is the image that is rendered to your TV, while the player plays on the headset. It allows for possibilities of social, asymmetric gameplay, not unlike those provided by the Wii U’s Gamepad. In this video below, we can see the social screen footage for Gran Turismo Sport, which mostly appears to mirror what the player is doing in the main game.

Gran Turismo Sport is set to launch exclusively on the PlayStation 4 later this year. The game will also support the PS4 Pro and the PlayStation VR (naturally).
