Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy: Relink is finally launching this week after its initial announcement in August 2016. The action RPG offers a new story for the Grandcypher crew, and based on the launch trailer, it’s a potential world-ending scenario. Check it out below.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink focuses on Gran/Djeeta, Lyria and their friends en route to Estalucia as they run afoul of Primal Beasts like Managarmr, Excavallion, Vulkan Bolla and Furycane. There’s also the Pilgrims of Avia, led by Lilith, with their own mysterious goal as players battle the likes of General Galanza and Sword Veil leader Maglielle.
There’s also Id, a “mysterious swordsman” with his own motives (who swears to protect Lyria in the trailer). Granblue Fantasy: Relink is out on February 1st for PS4, PS5 and PC. There’s more content coming after launch, including an Ultimate Showdown against Lucilius in March, two new characters – Seofon and Tweyen – in April, and much more.
