Grand Theft Auto 5: PS4/Xbox One/PC Vs. PS3/Xbox 360 Versions, Graphics Details Revealed

But is it worth spending $60 on again?

Posted By | On 12th, Jun. 2014

Grand Theft Auto V was finally announced for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this E3, ending the months and months of endless speculation about when the game would finally migrate from the last generation platforms that it hit at the end of last year to more modern ones. And it looks like Rockstar’s assertion that the delayed release for the newer platforms and PC will be using the added power under the hood was indeed correct- the game looks distinctly better on PS4 and Xbox One over the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, although it is nowhere near the best looking games on either of these systems.

The  enhancements for the new version include increased draw distance, finer texture, denser traffic, enhanced resolution, new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage graphics, in addition to a brand new video editor for the PC port.

So it looks like the port will be worth the wait, and that it will push up the game’s mammoth sales even more, finally making it the highest selling non bundled game of all time (the current holder of the title is Mario Kart Wii).
