Gravity Rush Director Gives Us Update On The Sequel

We still don't know its name or what system it is for, however.

Gravity Rush may have been heavily flawed, but it was still a great game, and stands as one of the highlight experiences of the PlayStation Vita. A lot of people, who loved Kat’s first outing, have been clamoring for a sequel, and the teaser unveiled over a year ago, which showed her in an unnamed new game for an unspecified platform, got a lot of people excited.

Unfortunately, we have not seen or heard anything of the game since then, and given the tendency for games on Sony systems to just disappear into oblivion after initial announcement, a lot of people had started to get worried. Particularly given that the game still has no name or even a target platform.

The director of the game recently made a statement that should quell at least some of those worries.

“The team is preparing and the systems are being put in place for the next title, and things are going smoothly. 2014 seems to be a year that will be dedicated to production in earnest, but I’ll work hard to meet everyone’s expectations.”

Alright, that sounds good. We’ll be waiting for more!
