Hitman 2 Silent Assassin was an absolute gem of a game. The game did have any pretense nor did it make any apologies for what it was. Hitman 2 Silent Assassin made the player think and out-think their enemies and get closer to their targets and disappear without a trace. While Hitman Absolution was a good game, it did not have the charm of Silent Assassin.
