Durante’s ‘DSFix’ for Dark Souls

Modders are essentially a gift to PC gamers, because only when we receive a PC mod to a game that we love, is only then we begin to really appreciate modders. Many gamers wanted the developers who created Dark Souls to give them a patch, where they could play the game, with updated graphics, the company couldn’t care less. Then came Durante who revealed assets that were clearly fit for the hardcore gamer/modder. He added ambient occlusion, uncapped the frame rate and improved the game’s texture filtering. Overall the game looks absolutely gorgeous.
