Whenever I look at this image I’m reminded of the movie I’m Legend. The movie was spectacular and the way they managed to give visualize and empty New York city was a feat. The Last of  Us is similar in many ways, the lighting and the mood, shows just how the city and environments has been overrun and destroyed with natural vegetation and cars scattered around. At the same time I admire the relationship brewing between the characters and how they lean on each other for support not only in fights but also emotionally. It gives a sense that there is no hope, but at the same time, there is some left.
