3. Tomb Raider 2013
When I look back at previous Tomb Raider titles, the one released this year was a stroke of genius. It is fantastic how the game combines some awesome cinematic lighting and fantastic locales to showcase the beginning of the rise of Lara Croft. I especially like this shot and how Lara is contemplating rescuing her friends and pondering on what needs to be done and what it will come down to, if she has to take a life. Truly emotional stuff.
