Codemasters released a new trailer and screenshots for their upcoming racing simulator GRID 2. But more importantly, the new trailer alludes to bigger things yet to come. As part 1 of the new “World Series Racing”, we get a look at the gameplay along with Patrick Callahan, the founder and entrepreneur of World Series Racing, talking about his vision for the series.
In fact, part 1, titled “The American Dream” looks at the beginnings of the sport. We also get a look at some of GRID 2’s locations in the United States including Chicago, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the California Coast. Side by side, we get a look at Callahan’s goal of bringing drivers of different styles and disciplines onto one field to find the ultimate driver.
Stay tuned for more on GRID 2, which releases on May 31st for Xbox 360, PC and PS3, and is available for pre-order now. In the meantime, have a gander at the new screenshots below as well.
