Codemasters’ GRID: Autosport has received a brand new trailer showing off one of the five racing styles you’ll see in-game, namely the Touring Car discipline. This style seems to be very impact-heavy and helps show off the game’s damage system. Check it out above.

Various Touring Car drivers such as Pirtek Racing’s 2013 BTCC Champion Andrew Jordan, Team Dynamics’ Matt Neal and Motorbase Performance’s Fabrizio Giovanardi all give their thoughts on Touring Car driving in the game. Giovanardi, who has won the touring car title eight times, stated that, “You need to be fast, you need to be clever – it’s a fighting race, not just a speed race.”

GRID: Autosport is releasing on June 24th in North America and June 27th in Europe for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The game will feature a number of new additions including the return of cock-pit view and 22 new locations. Stay tuned for more details.
