Grounded

Playing in the background will be taking on a terrible new context with the upcoming survival game from Obsidian Entertainment, Grounded. The game will follow some kids who have found themselves shrunken down and have to fight against the once mundane world in their own lawn. Now, we get a new gameplay video ahead of the demo.

The new video shows some brief snippets of gameplay, with the biggest thing getting shown off being the Arachnophobia Mode that was announced earlier. For those who are terrified of spiders, you can use this to change the spider into a different shape. What’s interesting is that it is client-side, meaning that it only applies to those who activate it and everyone else will still see the spider as normal. Check it out below. Also, don’t forget, that a demo will go live later today for both Steam and Xbox Insider after being delayed from the original June 9th date.

Grounded will release to early access for both Xbox One and PC on July 28th. You can also check out almost 45 minutes of single player gameplay through here.
