Guess Who Won’t Be At E3 This Year… Bungie

Posted By | On 07th, May. 2011

Now I know that some people may be disappointed and some may not even care.  But the absence of Bungie at E3 does not only say that the developer is not up to anything serious but to me, it says that Bungie is defined by Halo and with no Halo there is no Bungie.  That is just my opinion which frankly is not something that makes me happy because they are an extremely talented group of developers that have potential for who knows what.  To break away from Halo though would take a lot though, so maybe they just need time.  Here is there official statement.

“Oh, and while we’re on the subject of clarification, we won’t officially be at E3 this year. Remember the Band-Aid approach I talked about last week? This is what it feels like in practice. Sorry for the sting. We wanted to make sure you didn’t get whipped into a rumor-fueled frenzy only to have your expectations unceremoniously dashed during expo week.”
