Halo 4 Lead Designer Comments on Next-Gen: “We’re Aways Attuned to New Developments”

Posted By | On 08th, Aug. 2012

Microsoft Game Studios and 343 Industries are leaving no stone unturned to make Halo 4 a success. From a brand new enemy to new storylines and features, to a linked campaign and multiplayer mode and topping it off with a new graphical style, the title is the biggest Halo release yet.

But as the question always goes: what about the next one?

In an interview with the Independent regarding the next Halo and how 343 Industries will go about developing for it, lead designer Scott Warner said, “You know, obviously, we’re always attuned to new developments with what’s happening internally and externally.

“Our current development is all centred around the Xbox 360 and trying to harness everything we can get out of that box, so everything you’re seeing is sort of custom built for the 360 experience. Obviously depending on what happens and develops with our company, we’ll try to develop our technology and take advantage of it.”

Too soon to ask? Nonetheless, Warner did state indirectly that the next gen successor will “kick ass”.
