3. A More Mature Tone
Halo games HAVE included quite mature themes, especially with games like Reach. But otherwise, Halo games have had only a handful of instances that would make a player grind their teeth or really get involved with the game. it’s largely the legacy of the series that holds the community as it holds.
Recent Halo titles haven’t been gritty as such and after so many games, the community needs an entirely different reason to love the series like it did the first time.
