12. New Weapons
With the diversity of species that the Halo games have shown as it progressed through the ages, one would expect that the designers would work hard on weapon technology and designs and bring to the front some new and radically different weaponry. Far from it.
Weapon designs have only been modified slightly with the introduction of a paltry few weapons that were largely alteration of the original weapons in the earlier Halo games. Halo 4 marked the peak of getting fed up with the weapons. Halo 5 needs new weapons, and not just a rehash of the older ones.
