11. Move Away From The Covenant
The fascination of gamers with the Covenant was fast fading towards the end of the second Halo game but Microsoft and the game’s developers were impervious to the hints and suggestion of the Halo community and the result was that we were constantly supposed to to kill the same old species with a few variations every now and then.
And when a new species WAS introduced, it overtook the Covenant completely for a large part of the game, which was a relief but not for long. This is where the developers really need to step up and show their creativity. Earlier games stand testament to the brilliance that the developers are capable of; they need only work a little more.
