Halo 5: Guardians Launch Trailer Seriously Brings The Hype

The next Halo game is giving some seriously good vibes.

Look, it’s easy to be critical of 343’s stewardship of the Halo franchise so far- it has been marked with issues, from the underwhelming Halo 4 to the botched Halo: The Master Chief Collection. But damn if someone tells me Halo 5: Guardians is not looking amazing- because this is looking like a serious return to form for the franchise.

It’s been easy to see that with all the great single player and multiplayer announcements that 343 Industries have been making since early this year. But if you still weren’t feeling the hype – maybe out of caution – then man will this trailer sell you on the game. It’s everything that Halo used to be- and it promises us the prospect of a Halo that hits all the right notes again.

Halo 5: Guardians, in other words, looks absolutely epic, and I will be very surprised if it is not considered one of the best games in the franchise (and on the Xbox One) when it launches later this month, exclusively for the Xbox One.

Check out the trailer for yourself, I’m not overselling it:
