Now that Halo 5: Guardians has finally launched, it’s time to start asking 343 Industries when we’re going to see new content, because in order to stay ahead in this business, that’s how a company needs to operate. There needs to be something new just right around the corner. Luckily for Halo fans, it appears 343 is very much aware that’s how the video game business is these days. On the Halo Waypoint website the company made it clear there is more coming this month with a special sneak peak.

The company said that “In just over a week, the next Halo 5 content drop will be here, and with it comes Big Team Battle in Arena matchmaking, brand-new REQs, and a whole ton of juicy vehicular combat.” Along with the new combat stuff that is coming later this month is a new load of REQ stuff. The company hasn’t shed a ton of light on what is going to be part of this gear but it has promised to reveal more info as we move forward.

All of this is coming on the heels of an incredibly successful launch of the game. In fact, this is officially the fastest selling copy of the game in the entire series history. The game has sold so well that Microsoft has certainly stood up and taken notice. Phil Spencer even went out of his way to applaud the arrival of the title. Now 343 is just going to have keep working to make Halo 5: Guardians top notch.
