Halo 5 Guardians To Receive Chinese Localization

Breaking down them borders!

Halo 5: Guardians

So this is nice. It’s not long now until the Xbox One will be available at retail on the Chinese Market (for a stonking $600) and with it has come some information that may well please the Chinese gaming demographic.

One of the most prominent points that I want to touch on is Halo 5. Halo 5 is getting fully localised with both Chinese dubbing and Chinese subtitles, that’s how its done Microsoft! But that’s not all. Microsoft has over 25 developers working on more than 70 different Xbox One games that will include exclusive bonus content, free to play titles and of course their bigger titles, this includes Forza Motorsport 5, Kinect Sports Rivals, Powerstar Golf, Zoo Tycoon, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Sunset Overdrive and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

This all bodes well for the Chinese gaming community as well as Microsoft. One Chinese online retailer has already listed its pre-order units with 12,810 kinect bundles and 2,807 kinect-less SKU’s already pre-ordered. May not sound like a lot, but its a start.
