A few updates regarding Microsoft's shooter.

Halo 5: Guardians

Josh Holmes, the ever reliable head of the Halo 5 Guardians development studio, has acknowledge a bug wherein, some people are able spam smart scope since it auto aims to their targets in way a similar to Call off Duty. Josh replied that “it’s a bug in the playback for spectator/killcam. The person is actually scoped in the whole time. There’s no “snap-aim” bonus.”

He also confirmed that there is indeed a survey due to be issued to players that took part in Halo 5 feedback scheme. Sean Baron, User Experience Researcher at Microsoft Studios, has also said that the survey has been sent out, but that it will reach different players at different times.

Halo 5 Guardians is an Xbox One exclusive and is slated to be one of the biggest titles of 2015. User reception to the beta has been mostly mixed so far. The game does not have a release date yet and judging by the series’s history, a Q3 or Q4 release is not far fetched.
