Microsoft and 343 Industries have revealed that Halo Infinite will be receiving multiple pre-release technical previews, which will go live later this summer, and fans now have a chance to get themselves registered to participate in the tests. Halo Infinite’s multiplayer was officially unveiled yesterday at the Xbox and Bethesda E3 2021 Showcase, and will be receiving more details later today.
Announcing via a devpost on the official Halo Waypoint website, 343 Industries revealed that interested players can sign up for the closed beta tests using the Halo Insider program. Fans have the choice of opting in or out anytime, provided all of their account information is up to date.
Halo Infinite going the free-to-play route for multiplayer is certainly interesting, especially when multiplayer-only titles like Battlefield 2042 are asking $70 for the base experience. Stay tuned for more updates ahead of Halo Infinite’s launch in Holiday 2021 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S.
