Xbox Live’s Games With Gold program has received its second free game of the month in Halo: Reach. This is the final Halo title developed by the studio, which recently released Destiny for current and previous gen consoles, and will be available till the end of the month for free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. It will be replacing Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine on Xbox 360 while Crimson Dragon and Super Time Force are still available for free on the Xbox One.

Halo: Reach is a prequel to the original trilogy, taking place on the titular planet and focusing on Noble Team as the Covenant begins its war on humanity. You’ll play as Noble 6 and struggle to fight off the Covenant forces across several fronts, eventually even going into space to fell a capital ship.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available this November on Xbox One, so what better way to pass the time then to revisit one of the best Halo titles of all time?
