Halo: The Master Chief Collection Is Close To A PC Release – Rumor

The first four Halo games may be coming to Windows 10 PCs soon.

Microsoft insider Brad Sams, who’s known for his well placed and sourced reports about what the Redmond tech giant may be up to, has revealed that a PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, long the holy grail of Halo fans, may be coming. And not just coming- it may be coming soon.

In a new video in which he also discusses the alleged Xbox One S All Digital Edition, Sams mentions that Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s PC version is very close to completion and a subsequent release. He feels like it may at least be announced at E3.

“Not sure if it’ll be an E3 release, but it could be announced at E3. It’s an open secret they’re working on the MCC for PC. I’m hearing that it’s getting close to release,” he said.

Given that PC has yet to see Halo 3 and Halo 4 in any capacity (the first two games in the series were ported to PC back in the day), this is great news. Hopefully, the PC release meets the standards of quality that a series like Halo deserves.
