In the third instalment of Inside Xbox, Microsoft’s version of a Nintendo Direct, many things were discussed such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller and the new State of Decay 2. But of interest here is the Halo: Master Chief Collection Xbox One X patch that was detailed during the show.

Within the episode, 343 Industries Brian Jarrard and James Monosmith teased that players can expect to see the game take full advantage of the Xbox One X power, with brand new visuals and HDR support, along with a new UI. A launch date wasn’t dropped but Microsoft’s Xbox Twitter had a few things to say about that.

According to the tweet the patch is “Coming Soon”. Which might not be specific still, but given the fact the game has been awaiting some major fixes ever since it launched in 2014, ‘Soon’ is still better than ‘When it’s ready’. Stick to Gamingbolt as we keep you updated on all things Halo.
