Harmonix, well known maker of cult hit music games for a variety of platforms, such as Amplitude, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Dance Central, as well as the upcoming Disney Fantasia, have just released another brand new game, this time for the PC. It’s called A City Sleeps, it’s available now on the Humble Store, and, as you would expect from Harmonix, it plays to their strengths by providing a gameplay experience uniquely suited to their strengths- it’s a rhythmic, music based shoot ’em up game.

The game follows a young woman named Poe who is a member of an ancient clan of dream exorcists known only as The Silk, who  can enter the minds of sleeping people to cast demons out of their consciousnesses. So… it’s a bit like Constantine meets Inception? I don’t know.

The game is also available on Steam for 10% off, and the game description ‘strongly recommends’ an Xbox 360 (or equivalent) controller.
