Hawken could come out on the consoles, says developer

"We haven't ruled it out that's for sure."

Adhesive producer Jason Hughes says the development team of the upcoming Hawken has not ruled out a possible port to the consoles for the game which is currently planned for just a PC release.

“We haven’t ruled it out that’s for sure,” he told CVG. “By that I mean obviously we’ve discussed what potential Hawken has, but right now all our focus is very much on the PC version.”

That’s a pretty textbook-y answer, don’t you think.

He also said that the Hawken universe will grow beyond just the first game. “The plan for Hawken has always been to be a transmedia design, which means it is not just a game,” he said. “We have a whole universe for the player to grasp onto, including an upcoming comic book, digital series, and more. All the pieces can stand alone as they tell a different time in the Hawken universe but they all go together perfectly also.”
