Taking Mech Combat to another level.

Oculus Rift is a cool virtual reality headgear, and the mech combat game Hawken will support that at launch, but only for developers. The Hawken developers I mean. The headgear does not have a release date yet for consumers but the dev kits will be shipped on December this year.

The game also launches this December and is shaping up to be a fantastic free-to-play game. Don’t believe us? Check out the GamesCom trailer below.

“This morning, the developers of the downloadable, free-to-play, multiplayer mech combat game HAWKEN, are letting media know that the game will support Oculus Rift virtual reality, and that Oculus developers will be the very first people who get to play HAWKEN in VR when the dev kits ship in December,” reads press release.

“HAWKEN will join Doom BFG as one of the first games to support Oculus Rift.”
