Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now available for the PC and Mac. The free-to-play digital card game is finally out of the beta phase where it was corrupting minds and addicting gamers like crazy. The game plays like a one vs. one card battler where you can earn experience and rarer cards in order to further enhance your deck.
Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, stated that, “We saw some reports early on that Hearthstone might destroy the planet. We’re pleased to see that the game has been released and the planet is still here…though we apologize for all the lost productivity.”
Hearthstone will be heading to the iPad and iPhone in due time. Android and Windows Phone versions are also being planned in case you want to deal in card games on the go. There’s no set release date on the mobile versions but you can expect them later this year.
