Hearthstone’s Upcoming Update Will Introduce Balance Changes

Nerfs incoming for some cards.

Hearthstone, Blizzard’s fantastic collectible card game, has been getting some blowback from its community of late, owing to what are perceived to be balance issues with the game. Thankfully, it seems like an upcoming update for it will be tackling these head on, and strive to resolve them at least somewhat.

The update, update 10.2, will be nerfing a number of cards which are all deemed to be overpowered in Hearthstone‘s meta; these include Bonemare, Corridor Creeper, Raza the Chained, and Patches the Pirate. The changes will be for everything, from mana cost to their attacks, to ensure that they don’t dominate the metagame, and entire decks don’t have to be made just to counter them.

Hearthstone is available now on PCs running Windows and Mac, as well as smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android. The free to play card game remains one of the most popular and successful games in the world.
