Nacon’s HELL is US resurfaced during Sony’s recent State of Play, with a new trailer reaffirming its 2025 release date. Extensive new alpha gameplay is now available, with creative director and art director Jonathan Jacques-Belletete outlining everything. Check it out below.
HELL is US occurs in a country facing a civil war, during which strange creatures emerge. These are called Hollow Walkers, and while battling one may seem easy enough, taking on multiple (including different types) can get challenging.
Dual Entities are some of the toughest, but you may also run into Triple and Quadruple Entities. Players eventually get a sword but can also obtain weapons like a halberd and dual hatchets. Their Drone can also help out, distracting enemies to create space.
Combat makes up half of the experience – the other half is exploration. Players won’t receive any hints or waypoints as Remi and must inspect their environments for clues to solve puzzles. You’ll also explore ancient dungeons and delve into the country’s history.
HELL is US launches in 2025 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
