Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is getting quite close to its release date, and if you’ve been waiting on this one for a while, you’re probably going to want to clear your schedules this weekend. There’s a cross-platform playtest running from July 24th to 27th, marking the first time everyone across PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 get to jump into the chaos at the same time.
The new Đắk Tô Airfield map is a great place to do that, given that it comes with a variety of terrain and requires varying tactics as you navigate its vicinity and take refuge in nearby villages and hamlets. We’re wondering how its going to target 60 FPS when a lot is going on, but we’re sure that Expression Games has made use of the extra time to ensure that there are no unpleasant surprises when it drops on August 13th.
If you’re interested in joining the playtest, all you need to do is head on over to your respective digital storefront, download the playtest app from the game’s product page, and get started. However, you’ll need an active PlayStation Plus or Game Pass Essential subscription on your respective consoles. More details on the playtest and its timings can be viewed here.
