Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is Game Informer’s May 2017 Cover

Gameplay impressions and more info expected.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, the oft-delayed action title from the Heavenly Sword developer Ninja Theory, is on Game Informer’s cover for May.

The publication announced that it spent two days in Cambridge, England with the studio to take a deeper look at Hellblade’s story. It also went hands-on with the game so expect impressions on that as well.

Taking place in the Vikings era, Hellblade follows the ordeal of Senua who’s hometown was invaded, causing her to go mad. Senua must fight through Hell and her own psychosis to ultimately redeem herself though there’s obviously more to the story than Ninja Theory is letting on.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was originally set to release last year for PS4 and PC but saw numerous delays. Ninja Theory has promised that 2017 is the year. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more information.
