Here Are More Details on Dissidia: Final Fantasy Arcade

Not like it matters, because we will never be getting it over in the west anyway.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy was a great game on the PSP; its follow up was even better. For the third entry in the franchise, Square Enix decided to go big, and they announced the game for arcades. This is, in every was possible, a good thing, except it also precludes us from ever actually getting our hands on the thing unless a home console version is announced later.

As for Dissidua Arcade, we now have some brand new information about it, courtesy of some translated information by Siliconera. It appears that this game will be developed by Team Ninja, which is a wise decision, since Team Ninja already has experience making fighting games, thanks to their time helming the Dead or Alive series. It also seems that the arcade system is based on using one PS4 system as its core, then augmented and expanded.

That last bit, then, also gives me hope that a PS4 port, at least, may not be out of the question- meaning we may be able to play this game eventually after all.
