Tangentlemen’s Here They Lie has received a new update that lets you play the game without PlayStation VR.

As part of the PlayStation VR’s launch line-up, the free update allows PS4 players to use a normal display. Going forward, those who purchase the game will receive both the normal and VR versions.

The update also adds PS4 Pro enhancements such as 4K and high dynamic range lighting (HDR) support. For PlayStation VR, there is an “all-around higher quality render mode” which delivers dynamic shadows from flashlights, ambient occlusion, post-processing effects and superior shadows.

You can also take advantage of a new Chapter Select option, enable subtitles when not playing with VR, VR tutorial and access to new options for controller configurations. The game has also received improvements to its anti-aliasing and lighting along with enhanced VR head-tracking and texture streaming.
