PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

Finally almost here for Xbox Players waiting on the edge of their seat to get that chicken dinner, Bluehole games has revealed how the popular PC Battle Royale game has been translated over from the keyboard and mouse and onto the far more restricted controller, with what the developer calls an “innovative” design.

Many buttons are pulling double duty to make the many intricacies of the shooter possible, and tapping a button vs. holding a button will be a very important concept to grasp. The controls will also dynamically alter depending on the situation, between Basic third person, Aim mode, Vehicles, Swimming, while using the Map and navigating your Inventory.

It’s a bit more advanced than your typical third person shooter, which is to be expected. But through the collaboration the team had with Xbox Advanced Technology Group and Gears of War’s current caretakers The Coalition, it at least seems like something you can get the hang of after a match or two.
