Heroes of the Storm Retail Pack Will Start You Off With Five Heroes and a Tiger

But is it a Bengal Tiger or a Siberian Tiger? That is the question.

Heroes of the Storm Alpha

Amazingly enough, for a company that is infamous for taking over a decade to develop its games and products, Heroes of the Storm is almost here after its announcement not so long ago. The game will be launching on June 2, and while it will be, like all successful MOBAs, there will also be an SKU made available at retail. It will be called Heroes of the Storm Starter Pack, and it will sell for just £14.99.

For that price, you will get access to a fair bit of content too- five characters, namely Zagara, Sonya, Li Li, Jaina and Zeratul, alongside the Golden Tiger – a mount not available for purchase on the game’s store. Collectively, the characters are cheaper than they would be if you purchased them individually, too.

That said, the game remains ultimately free to play. You have no reason to go and purchase the Starter Pack. You can (and in fact should) play the digital free version and only purchase the heroes and mounts that you want a la carte.
