Heroes of the Storm Trailer Showcases Starcraft’s Kerrigan

Dat vengeance.

Blizzard Entertainment’s MOBA title Heroes of the Storm sees several famous characters from the studio’s vaunted library coming together and waging war. One of those heroes – or villain, depending on how you look at it – is former Starcraft Ghost unit Kerrigan, now the Queen of the Zerg Swarm. A new trailer showcases Kerrigan’s abilities and how she wrecks havoc on the battlefield. Check it out above.

Among Kerrigan’s attacks, which include using her wing blades and spikes from beneath the ground, it seems she’s capable of spawning Zerg units to effectively murder enemy Heroes. She also talks about vengeance never having looked this good. We’re inclined to agree, if only because doing the opposite is dangerous.

Heroes of the Storm will be heading to the PC and Mac this year, with a release date yet to be revealed. The game is currently in limited technical alpha testing. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
