As you keep playing Hi-Fi Rush, you unlock powerful abilities alongside augments that make Chai stronger than before. One of the key ways to increase Chai’s power level is by using chips. Let’s discuss how you can develop chips throughout the game and the means to obtain them.

How to get Chips

Chips aren’t collectibles. Therefore, they are not scattered through the map. They have to be developed in the shop. You have to collect Broken Circuits first. Once you have enough circuits, visit the shop and use gears and circuits to develop new chips for Chai. You can buy chips from Peppermint’s terminals or directly from your hideout.

How to increase Chip Slots

In order to increase your chip slots, you’ll have to visit the shop and buy more slots using Gears. You can read our guide here to know how you can farm Gears.

Hi-Fi Rush is now available for Xbox Series X | S and PC.
