Hideo Kojima Meeting With The Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus

Reedus was also famously going to be in Silent Hills, before that project was scrapped.

Silent Hills is dead, and all we have as a monument to what that game might have been is the ingenious P.T., a short demo for the game that was put online on PSN. P.T. hinted at a great new game in the troubled franchise, and a new twist on the survival horror genre from Hideo Kojima, the master of subverting expectations.

It also promised an all star matchup, as Kojima was going to be joined by famous film director Guillermo del Toro, as well as Norman Reedus, of The Walking Dead TV show fame, on which he plays the fan favorite character Daryl.

Of course, that project was scrapped, but Kojima may not necessarily have given up on the idea of working with del Toro or Reedus- in fact, he just posted on his Twitter that he is meeting with Reedus, and giving him an update on his new studio.

Could Reedus and Kojima team up again in some future, upcoming title from the auteur developer? Who knows? But hey, the early indications seem to be promising, at the very least.
