Whatever you think of Death Stranding, you have to admit it’s not a game you tend to see in the mainstream at all. The ‘walking simulator,’ or whatever you want to call it, was definitely a weird one for the AAA stage and budget. It seems to have been at least a moderate success, though, and it’s one that we will probably learn even more about soon as the game’s Director has a talk planned around the game at this year’s Game Developer Conference.

As announced by the GDC schedule, the talk will be called Death Stranding‘s Design Philosophy. The talk will be Hideo Kojima (presumably with a translator) breaking down the behind the scenes development story of the polarizing game. We’ll keep you posted on any new information that will come from it, and hopefully the game managed to make people happy like Kojima hoped it would.

Death Stranding is available now on PlayStation 4 with a PC version of the game slated to come in Summer. GDC 2020 will run from March 16th to the 20th, as of now this talk doesn’t have a slated time slot.
