During its recent event, Microsoft unveiled new FPS High on Life. Starring Rick and Morty‘s Justin Roiland and developed by his studio Squanch Games, High on Life has players gather up a team of charismatic talking guns to defend the planet against an alien invasion.

High on Life features a variety of biomes and locations across the cosmos as the player builds their arsenal to take on Garmantuous and his gang of aliens.

High on Life features a variety of different guns, ranging from standard ones that shoot bullets, to guns that shoot their own offspring at your chosen target.

The main adversaries in High on Life are an alien drug cartel. The player takes on the role of a bounty hunter, tasked with helping out a gun rescue his friends. If the trailer is anything to go by, High on Life‘s weapons are quite talkative.

High on Life is coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One this October.
